Karate Man, I mean Logan

Logan started taking Karate lessons in November and is loving it.  Kendall goes to art school in Seattle on Wednesdays with Grandma and Logan was feeling left out, but wasn't interested in art school. Grandma and he decided to give Karate a try and he is loving it.  We took a break from baking to watch Logan in action, so funny and cute!

Bake til ya drop

Christmas break is in full swing and to start it off we had a baking day with the family.  It was pretty crazy when I see how much we actually made! Here is the menu!
bars of some kind don't know the name that Linda made, I did Ritz thin  mints and ginger cookies, Jacqui did peppermint whoopie pies and chocolate cover pretzels, Carol did gingerbread men and fudgy bon-bons and Melissa did sugar cookies.  I have a sugar high just thinking about it!  Marilyn joined us later in the day and had made fudge too! It was fun to see the family and have the kids busy during the break, not to mention the wide variety of treats we came home with!

Seahawks Sunday 2010

Sunday December 19th 2010, Austin and I were able to go to our very first Seahawks game!  It was a blast!  We were given tickets that Al had won in a raffle through his union and the seats we amazing! The crowd was crazy loud, but the Seahawks still lost-oh well we still had a great time and will go back as soon as we can!

Christmas with the Titus Family 2010

The third weekend in December we spent time with the Titus side of the family at the Fisher's in Edgewood.  We had dinner, chatted, exchanged gifts for the kids and did a white elephant exchange for the adults and watched Despicable Me-wonderful movie!  We all had a great time!

Santa 2010

So I bought a groupon for pictures with Santa at the supermall.  Then I remembered why I don't like the pictures at the supermall!  We arrived right at 5:15pm on a Friday night hoping to miss the crowd only to find out that Santa needs to feed his reindeer until 6pm-grrr! So we went to dinner, and I prayed the kids would not cover their dresses in ketchup! Then we headed to get in line for Santa right at 6pm, over an hour later we finally saw him.  Here are some pics I took of the kids waiting in line.

In case you missed it- Avery asked for a baby Elmo, Kendall the Barbie vacation dream house and Logan wants the Trio batcave!

And so here is the official picture! My kids really were happy even though Avery doesn't look like it! We waited an hour for a crappy background, print job and definetly not the best smiles from the kids, but they had a great time so that is all that matters, but next year we are going back to southhill regardless of what "great" deal I find!

Leavenworth 2010

The second weekend in December we packed up and headed to Leavenworth for the tree lighting ceremony. I have wanted to do this for a couple of years and decided to make it my b-day gift so no arguments from the peanut gallery :0). It was absolutely beautiful since we were blessed with SNOW!!! There was a winter storm warning and there was actually a foot of snow on the car when we left after our fun filled day in the village. We all had a wonderful time, sledding, shopping, lots of hot cocoa and the lights were so pretty. A great way to enjoy the holiday season, so we will definitely be going back at some point!

Our first night in town we went to dinner and headed to Leavenworth to check it out and get hot chocolate

Avery was getting cold, notice how much snow is on Austin's head!

It was so wet and busy I just held my camera up to try and get some pics of the lights

A very bad attempt at a family photo in the crowd and wet, wet, snow!!! An amazing time none the less!
