K's Jamboree

Well this weekend was our first taste of organized sports! Despite my fears and annoyance with the leagues lack of organization, there were no crazy parents and we all had a great time! Kendall had her first T-ball game as part of the Jamboree. The girls played two games back to back with coach Austin guiding the way. All the girls played different positions each inning and had lots of opportunities to hit. They all did great job and were pretty tired by the end of it. The weather was great too, let's hope that continues when games start!

Easter Weekend 09

Well last weekend was Easter and very busy! We went to the Edgewood egg hunt first thing in the morning on Saturday, then home to decorate and dye eggs. Avery napped, Logan had his hair cut and requested a Mohawk! Austin wouldn't let him so the gal just used get to make it for him, he was happy with it. I personally don't see the big deal if he wants one doesn't bother me! After eggs we headed to the Marecele's to celebrate Bryce's first birthday- phew! Sunday was great as well, the kids awoke to full baskets and a note from the bunny saying "He had extra time and hid a few more eggs in the house"-48 more plastic candy filled eggs, the kids had a blast! Then we dressed in our Sunday best in hopes of going to the 11:15 church service. We were already on the fence since Easter is one of the busiest days at the church, but when Austin still wasn't dressed at 10:45 we knew we would never get there in time to park with the Easter rush! So the kids then went looking for our dyed eggs on the deck and found all but one. We headed to Grandma Marilyn's for Prime-Rib and Ham. It was a great family day! The kids couldn't hunt eggs with the weather so the next best thing was gambling of course :0) The kids played LRC and Logan won the pot! That's my boy! All in all it was great day so home we headed. Well we are sure we knew what happened to the last egg as soon as we looked at Leroy! He had thrown up in his kennel and his nose was twice it's regular size! Even the dog is allergic to eggs! Benedryl for him! I love my crazy life! Hope everyone else had a wonderful Easter too!

Logan is 4!

The end of March is always a celebration for the Fisher's! Logan turned 4 on March 31, 2009 and celebrated with his friends and family the weekend before at the Super Jump Zone. It was a great kick off to Spring Break. So I said Spring Break right, well on Monday, April 1st to be exact (no fooling) it snowed! So it wasn't enough to do much instead we just hung out around the house. Then Logan's birthday was Tuesday. He had waffles for breakfast, hit the park to try out the new scooter and per his request we had McDonald's for dinner. Wednesday through Friday we headed up to Grandma Marilyn's cabin with the Arnold's. The kids had a great time playing in the snow and sledding and I was able to get a day in of skiing- wow the powder was wet! Then the weekend we came home and rested up for the weekend ahead, so that was Spring Break and more importantly Logan's B-day! Can't believe my Bubbee is 4!
