Halloween 2010

Happy Halloween!! Halloween is a very fun day for us, we normally carve pumpkins and cook the seed, before getting dressed up and going trick or treating.  This year was a little different, since we went to the pumpkin patch in between rain storms we didn't seem to notice that all 3 off the pumpkins the kids picked had some kind of bruise or even a hole poked in it!  With Daddy gone hunting until Halloween we wait to carve the pumpkins, unfortunately the pumpkins were just too yucky to carve! We had several little pumpkins that we had grown in the garden that the kids originally wanted to paint, but after going to Spooner's with Grandma Fisher they had a kit and some stickers to use too.  The kids did a great job decorating the pumpkins with stickers and the kit, and honestly wow no mess and less stress maybe this should be a new tradition?
I did miss the cooked seeds though. Oh well the porch decorations were complete and now it was time to get dressed up.

This is Avery's second Halloween and she wore the same costume that Kendall wore for her second Halloween, they look so much a like, and a toddler at Halloween is just the best!

Kendall- 20 months, Halloween 2004

   Avery- 28 months, Halloween 2010

Logan, 5 years old is obsessed with The Clone Wars character Anikin, so this is who he chose to dress up as.  The mask is a little creepy for me, but he loved it!
Kendall, 7 years old this year decided to be Starfire, a character from the Teen Titans cartoon

Halloween night was dry, clear and pleasantly warm! Grandma Spencer came up to trick or treat with us. We started the night by heading across the street to Dave and Barb's, then we piled in the car and headed to  our old neighbors new neighborhood for about an hour and a half before Logan decided he was just too tired and had enough candy! Kendall and Avery could of went all night, but back home we went! We have plenty of candy and lots of smiles, oh and Daddy was home too!
