Time with Family summer 2010

In August we were able to spend a little time with family.  The Yurochuck's have been visiting from the Marshall Island and we were able to catch up with them for dinner at Carol and Doug's.  We also were able to visit with family friends down at Summit Lake for a BBQ in the rain.  The kids love heading to the lake especially when they get a chance to go fishing!

cheer camp 2010

The first week in August Kendall went to cheer camp.  She did this last year and had a great time and this time around was no different- she loved it!  She is still doing her cheer jumps around the house!

Neil McCoy and Clay Walker

For those who know my family know that the gambling gene is well rooted in us!  Since my mom gambles at Snoqualmie, she gets free tickets to the concerts and so after camping she picked me up and we went to see Neil McCoy and Clay Walker.  It was a great show and the Snoqualmie Casino is really nice!  Great way to start of August!

Alder Lake Camping 2010

We ended July and welcomed August with a camping trip to Alder Lake.  We were joined by the Marecel's and Kowalchuk's.  The weather was pretty good, no rain thankfully, but a little cooler than it should of been for the end of July and beginning of August.  None the less we had a great time.  The kids rode their bikes & scooters, hunted for snakes, played star wars,watched a movie and swam in the lake. Thanks to peer pressure and Austin and Katie's coaching Kendall can ride her bike comfortably now- Yeah! The kids play so well together and it was great to spend some adult time while the kids napped and the guys took the kids fishing.  We are loving the camping trips!

Busy Busy July 2010

These last couple weeks of July have been filled will with activities including:
Swim Lessons, Ice-Skating lessons, play dates, birthdays, anniversaries and graduation parties.  We have been going, going, going and it feels like the summer is slipping away! Here are a few pics from the last couple of weeks!

All the kids took a 2 week session and did GREAT! Logan is putting his face in and streamlining on his front and back-YEAH!

Kendall has learned the crawl and can even breathe to the side! She is also now working on learning the backstroke

Last day of lessons! Avery didn't make it as she had a late nap and was sleeping!

Logan ready to skate! His session has ended and he is really excited for the fail session since he received a ribbon for passing his test- he will be level 2 now :0)

Saturday, July 24th 2010 was a very busy day, we started off celebrating Kennedy's 6th birthday. The kids had an amazing time in the pool with all their friends.

Next stop, celebrating Lexi's graduation and reluctantly congratulating her on going to UW, I was tired and didn't take too many pictures, wish I would of at least got one of Lexie! I did get this pic of Avery, Melissa and Kendall that was pretty cute! Congrats Lexi!

July 24th 2010- 11th year anniversary

SUCCESS! It is possible to get 2, 2 year olds to nap in the same room at the same time and it only took 20 minutes! 

Gosh it has been a fun July! Last stop in July will be camping at Alder Lake!

Summer Camping Moses Lake 2010

The second week in July was our 3rd camping trip of the season and usually our longest.  In the past we have spent a week at Banks Lake, but this year we had a last minute change in plans and had to do something different.  So we headed to Moses Lake, Wa.  I had always heard good things about their city waterpark and I found a private campsite that was open and even had a pool, so off to try a new place we went.  We only stayed 5 days instead of 7 since the city was going to be busy over the weekend and the waterpark would be on limited hours starting Friday due to a swim meet.  The weather was perfect and we had an amazing time!

New Do

Kendall and I have been growing our hair out so that when the wedding came we could have it fixed by the pros.  Now Kendall was ready for a "new do", and I think I will grow mine a little longer, since I am loving the pony tail on the hot days. I love Kendall's new look- very cute. Poor Avery on the other hand has had a 103 temp this weekend and the verdict is an ear infection!
