Happy Easter Weekend

Spring is here and so is the rain! We finished off spring break with all the activities Easter brings.  Saturday we all headed to the annual Egg Hunt, it was cold but no rain.  Then Sunday morning brought the baskets filled by the Easter Bunny, Church and then dinner at the Fisher's.  Happy Easter!

What a muddy mess!

With the land selling in March the 90 day window to move the playground has started! We had to do some grading to make a new spot for it since we will lose most of our "back yard". We are going to have a bigger patio, put up walls and a fence at some point.  Right now with the lovely weather it is just a muddy mess!

Happy Birthday Logan

Logan's real birthday was celebrated during spring break.  He woke up to pancakes made by daddy and gifts by the family.  We then headed to see How to Train Your Dragon- Great movie, and then the day was topped off with his choice for dinner. McDonald's of corse and fun in the play area, can't believe he is 5 already!

Basketball ends

Then end of March brought the end of Basketball. Kendall did a great job and really enjoyed the season. Jamin was a great coach. The girls headed to Decoursey park for cupcakes and trophies to celebrate.

Logan's Birthday Party 3/2010

For the third year in a row, Logan has requested to have his birthday party at the Super Jump Zone. This year was a clone wars theme. It was great time as usual, thanks to all who came and wished him a wonderful day!

Logan's birthday circle 2010

Hard to believe, but this is Logan's last year of Preschool! He will be 5 years old in less than a week and with Spring Break happening next week, we celebrated his birthday at school today. The kids do a routine of holding the earth and walking around the sun to symbolize each year of life. Then they talk about what they were like that year and so on until it is time to sing happy birthday and blow out the sun! Mrs. Adams asked Logan what he was looking forward to doing when he was five and he replied "better flips". He wants to be good at doing flips on the trampoline, OK let's pray for no broken body parts!
He passed out the ice-cream cone cupcakes he insisted on making- they are a pain to travel with! He helped frost and put on the sprinkles himself and was so proud. Then I clone wars tattoo on each of his classmates. He has a great time, birthday party one-check, only two more to go!

March Madness 2010

Wow, it is hard to believe March is almost over! I have barely had time to come up for air, so the blog has been neglected along with everything else! March has been really busy so I will just hit some of the hightlights:
- Avery continues to grow like a weed, she is talking a lot now and is amazingly clear! Just last night she said "Logan brush teeth, NOW" no idea where she gets the "now" from :0)
-Logan will turn 5 this month! He is such a loving and amazing little boy with quite the imagination.
-Kendall finished basketball and her and Logan both will be starting T-ball (sigh), not sure if I will survive all the sports.
-Angel has spent two weeks now at the school for the deaf in Washington. We have had a few bumps along the way, but he really enjoys it!
-Both Kendall and Logan had conferences at school and are doing great!
-Austin was out of town for 4 days at the APWA conference, that's AKA-Golf and bill the office!
-I managed to show off my wonderful driving skills by hitting a parked car!
-We surprisingly sold the land, so the dream of building a custom home is gone, but so is the land payment!
-I officially resigned to the school district and won't be working next year! Yes, I did this last school year and foolishly agreed to work in June when a principal called, but I have learned my lesson and promise to at least try the stay at home gig for a year!
-Marilyn continues to mend after her back surgery and is greatly missed at bowling on Thursdays.
-We said good-bye to Grandpa Charlie's and Carol's chocolate Lab-Hershey :0(
Really--all this has happened and the month is not officially over, but it is the start of Spring Beak, Yipppppeeeee!
