cabin fun

Last weekend we headed to Packwood to have a weekend at the cabin with the Kowalchuk's. It was a great time. The kids played in the mounds of left over snow, watched movies, played with thier toys, did art projects and on and on! The adults enjoyed some downtime of reading, movies and the guys even played the Wii. It was a busy but nice weekend that wouldn't be complete with out something happening and of course it did......at the very end of the trip as we were packing up the dogs, Sammy and Ella got in a fight! Both are fine, but guess we won't be taking them around each other again.

It is always a party at Cindy and Joel's house! They hosted a fabulous party this past Sunday, and even though the Cardinals lost a good time was still had by all! The kids played and watched movies, we all ate tons, watched the game and of course gambled! Thanks to Cindy and Joel for a great time!

Still celebrating

So the house was destroyed over the weekend and now on Monday we have a little house project to do...... New Wood Floors!! YIPPPEEE! We are replacing the disgusting 8 year old carpet in the living room and hallway with beautiful hardwood. Step one- rip everything out, but the pad, so that was Monday! Then Tuesday was Kendall and Austin's actual birthdays. After baking brownies, we celebrated her birthday at school with a birthday circle. I think her favorite part was having Avery there! We had dinner at Outback and dessert at ColdStone. Thanks to Grandma Marilyn for the Outback giftcard and Coldstone gives free birthday ice-creams if you sign up for their birthday club :0) Then the kids went to bed and we pulled the pad out and finally this morning the floors were installed- Love it! Now we can just spend the rest of the week catching up! Well I guess until Sunday- Go Cardinals!
